Your Solutions to Deep Acne Scarring

What is Nanofractional RF Resurfacing?

A revolutionary, fully customisable FDA cleared solution for acne scar treatment, facial remodelling and skin resurfacing. This device delivers impressive efficacy through combining NanoFractional Radio Frequency™ (RF) and one-of-a-kind SmartScan™ technology. This treatment gives consistent and predictable outcomes that give immediate and long term results. The non-invasive fractional systems use radio frequency to effectively improve the appearance of uneven skin texture and reduce other signs of skin damage without affecting the surrounding tissue. The first and only fractional radiofrequency (RF) system allows operator control of ablation, coagulation, and resurfacing for enhanced efficacy in resolving mild to severe acne scars..Venus Versa

Patented Technology

NanoFractional™ Radio Frequency is delivered via a patented tip technology that creates micro-wounds in the skin to activate the natural wound healing process. The high temperatures cause collagen remodelling and trigger neocollagenesis. Surrounding intact skin serves as a reservoir for stem cells and relevant proteins, which means faster healing and less downtime.

How does Nanofractional RF Resurfacing work on acne scars?

This treatment leverages the advantages of nano-fractional RF with SmartScan technology to improve the skin condition while saving you from discomfort and longer downtime associated with fractional laser treatment. The treatment combines a resurfacing device and a needling-assisted RF device to achieve results. Micro-needles create tiny wounds in the skin while conveying heat to the skin's deeper layers. The needles prompt the body's natural healing mechanism to raise fibroblast production levels and repair the microscopic wounds. The resultant increase in collagen and elastin production levels reduces scar signs on the skin's surface.

Apart from achieving satisfactory results, the RF microneedling treatment is relatively more comfortable than CO2 laser treatments because the needles work below the skin's surface while CO2 works on the superficial layers. As the microneedling treatment does not work on the skin's surface, the chances of developing PIH are also much lower.

In this treatment, the doctor fully controls the ablation process, which works at the skin's surface levels and the coagulation process dealing with the deeper scars and lines. The overall advantages of the treatment include:

As microchannels have been created, the results can be enhanced by applying serums post-treatment. Multiple passes with a higher energy setting can be used to treat patients with active acne and patients with deep acne scars. The downtime would be slightly longer depending on the settings and can last up to a week.
