Oily Scalp
An excessively oily scalp can lead to conditions like dandruff, greasy hair and seborrheic dermatitis. The medical term for excess oiliness is called seborrhea, and this is a very common scalp problem. Oily Scalp can be cause by a high level production of your own natural sebum, genes, hormonal imbalances, humidity, diet or, skin oils.
Oily scalp can make your hair feels greasy and dirty as well even if you have just shampooed your hair. If untreated, an oily scalp can also cause dandruff and scalp acne, or worst case the sebum glands clog the hair roots and cause hair loss problems.
